The crest was designed by Jason Griffin a past pupil of Scoil Mhuire and a well known local artist.

BRIDGE: Represents strength, stability and connection to the town.
QUILL: Represents education in various forms, art, journalism etc.
SCROLL: Represents honour, pride, achievement, a building block to the future
CELTIC SWIRL: Represents Mary in the form of a halo and also joining the community, she touches each of the other three elements.
