Board of Management

About Us

The Board of Management has legal responsibility for the overall running of the school. It serves for a term of four years and a new Board was formed in November 2007.

Structure of the Board
A ‘Core Board’ consisting of:

  • Two nominees of the patron
  • Two parents elected from parents of students attending the school
  • One staff member elected by the school staff
  • The school principal
  • Two members from the wider community

The members of the current board are:

Parents’ Representative: Mary O' Connor Treasurer
Parents’ Representative: Michael Sealy
Teachers’ Representative: Denise Shaughnessy
Principal: Muireann Seoighe Secretary
Community Representative: Joan Foley
Community Representative: Liam Crowley
